Admission criteria
Who can apply for admission?
International German School Hefei offers a diverse learning environment for students from different countries and regions.
- Foreign nationals legally residing in Mainland
- Residents of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan who are legally residing in China
- Chinese citizens legally residing abroad (holding foreign nationality)
- High-level talents in line with relevant policies
Application process

Register online
Submit your application
You can fill out the admission application form online. You can save your progress and submit it when all required items are completed.
It takes about 15-20 minutes to complete the admission application form, including uploading all documents.
After submitting your application, you will receive an email confirmation with a copy of your application. You will then be contacted by our admissions team.
Fee payment
Lock in your application
A non-refundable registration fee of RMB 2,000 is required at the time of enrolment of your child. The registration fee can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.
If you are transferring money by bank transfer, please be sure to indicate the child’s name and invoice number, and all costs incurred in the transfer will be borne by the parent.
Confirmation of enrollment

Once your application is processed, you will receive an offer letter. If needed, our admissions team will contact you to complete the enrollment process and ensure your child’s smooth integration into our school community.

Getting all your application materials ready might take some time, so you can go ahead and submit your application form even if you’re missing some documents.
Just be sure to upload or send all the missing files to the admissions office once you’ve got everything together, so you can finish up your enrollment process.

Campus Tour Instructions:
All visitors are required to enter and exit the campus through the temporary main entrance. Free parking is available in the parking lot inside the temporary main entrance.
For child safety reasons, please do not take photos or videos during school visits.
