Spring and Easter Festival at IGS

With colorful flowers, decorated Easter trees, and small bunny footprints spread across the entire campus, our school was presented in a festive spring atmosphere.

Our Spring and Easter Festival was a lively expression of what defines our school community: joy in being together, creative expression, and shared experiences.

We were especially happy to welcome new guests to our campus. This allowed us to give insights into life at IGS and to share the openness and warm atmosphere of our school.

Across the entire campus, a welcoming environment emerged where children, families, and staff came together. The children had the opportunity to explore a variety of activities—from creative offerings to special experiences for different age groups.

Whether it was an Easter egg hunt with VR goggles, bracelet making, face painting, or other creative stations, the children’s excitement and enthusiasm could be felt everywhere.

The movement-based activities also focused on shared enjoyment. During sack races and egg-and-spoon races, there was lots of laughter and cheering. Another highlight was the football activity on the field, led by a professional coach from the VfL Wolfsburg Football Club.

The children’s musical performances created a particularly special atmosphere. With great enthusiasm, they presented their songs and proudly shared this moment with their families and the school community.

The event was complemented by traditional culinary treats that also reflected the festive theme.

The day concluded with a shared Easter bonfire, bringing everyone together and allowing the event to end in a warm and connected atmosphere. We look back on this successful day with great joy and look forward to many more shared experiences.
