Students from the Primary School initiated a reading project for our Kindergarten Class. They come to the class on a weekly basis to share stories with the children.

This week they were sharing a German story about Kurbis Kiki und Das Enteadankfest (Pumpkin Kiki and Thanksgiving). They read the story for the children and asked them questions about the autumn pictures they saw and talked about the changes that occur in autumn.

The children engaged enthusiastically and were eager to answer questions and had the opportunity to choose their favourite pumpkins and share their reason of liking the pumpkin they chose.

The primary students and the kindergarten children enjoyed the activity and the whole experience of engaging with each other. Success in these interactions boosts the confidence of both kindergarten and primary students, encouraging further participation in similar activities.
