On Friday, December 5th, we celebrated St. Nikolaus Day together with the children. As they arrived, their eyes lit up when they discovered the beautifully decorated rooms. Overnight, St. Nikolaus had visited our kindergarten and prepared several surprises for them: their little rubber boots filled with small presents, and a personal message for each child—a short, encouraging note written especially for them.

Throughout the morning, we sang festive songs, listened to stories, and enjoyed special games together. These shared experiences not only created a joyful atmosphere but also highlighted the values at the heart of the St. Nikolaus tradition: kindness, gratitude, and the appreciation of small gestures that brighten everyday life.

St. Nikolaus Day is a cherished German tradition, and it became for many children, a lovely childhood memory. We look back on a warm and joyful morning and are grateful to have shared this meaningful tradition with our kindergarten children.
