IGS Summer Camp Finale: Community Celebration with VfL Wolfsburg

The final activity of this year’s IGS Summer Camp brought a vibrant and energetic close to two weeks filled with discovery, creativity, and community.

With the support of professional coaches from VfL Wolfsburg, our students spent the last two days developing their skills on the football pitch – a thrilling highlight for many.

On Friday morning, the coaches led focussed skill training sessions, with students divided into two age groups. They practiced passes, dribbles, and teamwork.

Moreover, the children focussed on another task: preparing a small exhibition to present to parents the many activities they had taken part in over the past two weeks – from farm visits and jam-making to science experiments and aquarium adventures.

As parents arrived, they were invited to relax at our Parent Café, enjoy a cup of coffee, and socialise with each other.

Afterwards, some of them joined their children on the sports field to experience some of the football fun firsthand – laughter, encouragement, and team spirit were in the air.

The day concluded with a joint lunch for all participants – students, parents, and staff alike – a fitting and festive end to the IGS Summer Camp.

It was a celebration of what we value most: learning, togetherness, and the joy of shared experiences as we approach the summer break.
