We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding results of our students who took part in the June 2026 Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) assessments. Every IGS candidate achieved a passing grade, giving us an impressive 100% pass rate.
This success reflects our students’ ability to use the language confidently in practical contexts, and the dedication they have shown throughout their learning journey. We are incredibly proud of their achievement.
At IGS, we take language education seriously and see it as an integral part of our curriculum. Preparation for internationally recognised language qualifications such as PEIC is therefore woven into our everyday teaching and learning.
Our students do not need to attend additional courses or take on extensive extra work simply to prepare for these assessments. Instead, the language skills they need are developed naturally and progressively through their regular lessons, classroom interactions and wider experience of our multilingual school community.
Our culturally diverse campus provides a particularly rich environment for language development. Students are encouraged not only to develop their linguistic knowledge, but also to communicate confidently and engage meaningfully with people and perspectives from different cultural backgrounds. Everyday interaction in our community creates authentic opportunities for students to use English purposefully and develop the confidence to communicate across cultures.
This approach also means that formal assessment becomes a meaningful part of students’ educational journey rather than an isolated examination experience. IGS is committed to giving students the opportunity to participate in official, internationally recognised language assessments each year, allowing them to demonstrate their progress, celebrate their achievements and gain internationally recognised evidence of their language proficiency.
As an authorised PEIC test centre, IGS provides students with direct access to a professional international language-assessment pathway.

About the Pearson English International Certificate
The Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) is a standardised English language qualification within Pearson’s English assessment system. It is designed for learners from around the age of six onwards and assesses practical English language skills across a range of proficiency levels.
PEIC is awarded by Pearson Edexcel, one of the UK’s leading awarding organisations for academic and vocational qualifications, and is regulated by Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation. With international recognition, PEIC provides a reliable indication of a learner’s English proficiency and can support future educational opportunities, including further study, study abroad and international exchange programmes.
