About Pearson PEIC

The Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) is a standardised English language proficiency qualification within the Pearson English certification system. It is designed for learners aged around 6 and above.

PEIC is issued by Pearson Edexcel, one of the UK’s leading academic and vocational awarding bodies, and is regulated by Ofqual (the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation).

Recognised internationally, PEIC results provide a reliable measure of a learner’s English proficiency and can support pathways to further education, study abroad, and international exchange opportunities.
