The new school year has brought many changes to our Kindergarten, including beautifully renovated learning spaces, new classrooms, and a growing community of children and families.

On Saturday, 29 August, our Kindergarten families came together for a special Orientation Day. The children were especially proud to show their parents around their new Kindergarten, introducing them to their classrooms, teachers, and the spaces they had already begun to make their own.

The Orientation Day also provided a wonderful opportunity for the entire Kindergarten groups to come together for the first time. As our follow individual settling-in plans and, this afternoon was a special moment to meet new classmates, reconnect with familiar faces, and begin growing together as a group.

Children and parents then explored the renovated Kindergarten together, visited the learning and outdoor spaces, and had the chance to meet and connect with the teaching team.

The afternoon continued with separate activities. The children spent time in their classrooms with their teachers and new classmates, while parents joined an information session covering important topics such as daily routines, communication, and the organization of the school year.

We then came together in the school cafeteria to share food and enjoy time as a Kindergarten community. It was a wonderful opportunity for families and teachers to connect beyond the classroom and get to know one another.

Our Orientation Day gave children and families the chance to become familiar with their surroundings, meet the people who will be part of their Kindergarten journey, and feel more at home in their new environment.

We are delighted to welcome our Kindergarten community into the new school year and look forward to sharing the year ahead.
