Our Kindergarten Graduation Celebration was a joyful afternoon as we came together with children, parents, and friends to celebrate the end of a wonderful school year and the beginning of exciting new adventures.
The celebration opened with a warm welcome and a reflection on a remarkable year of growth—not only for our children, but also for our kindergarten community. The children proudly presented a variety of songs, dances, finger plays, and movement activities in German, English, and Chinese.
It was inspiring to see how confidently they performed, showcasing the remarkable language development they have achieved through our multilingual learning environment.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the graduation ceremony. Every child received their personal portfolio—a collection of memories from the school year, including artwork, projects, photographs, and individual learning experiences that document each child’s unique journey and development.
Our preschool graduates proudly received their traditional German Schultüten (school cones) as they prepare to begin first grade. Our younger children transitioning from Pre-Kindergarten to Kindergarten were also recognized as they embark on this exciting new stage of their educational journey.

For many of the children, one of the most memorable moments was taking part in the traditional “Angel Fly.” This joyful and symbolic farewell marked the end of their kindergarten journey as they were playfully sent off into the next chapter of their lives.
We also took a moment to thank our dedicated teaching team for their commitment, passion, and care throughout the year.

The celebration concluded with group photos, delicious snacks, and time for families to share memories and celebrate this special milestone together.
As the first graduating class of the IGS Kindergarten, these children mark a very special milestone in our kindergarten history. We are proud to have accompanied them on this important stage of their learning journey and wish them all the very best as they take their next steps with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
