This summer, as excitement builds around the world ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, IGS is proud to partner with VfL Wolfsburg to launch an exclusive football camp for young players. Bringing together a shared passion for sport, teamwork and personal development, the camp offers children an unforgettable summer experience both on and off the pitch.
Leading the programme is Enis Davran, Head Coach of the VfL Wolfsburg Football Academy, together with his experienced coaching team. With more than 25 years in professional football and 16 years of coaching experience, Enis brings Germany’s renowned youth development philosophy directly to IGS. All training sessions and assessment benchmarks are aligned with official German youth football standards, ensuring participants benefit from a high-quality and professional training environment.
Players are grouped according to their age and ability, allowing coaches to tailor training programmes to the needs of each team. Throughout the camp, children develop key football skills, including ball control, passing, finishing and tactical awareness. Regular small-sided matches and mini-league competitions provide valuable opportunities to apply these skills in game situations while building confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship.

A balanced diet plays an important role in supporting young athletes, particularly during periods of intensive physical activity. To ensure participants remain energised and focused, the IGS cafeteria provides nutritious meals based on healthy eating principles. Carefully planned menus include high-quality protein sources, fresh seasonal produce and balanced portions designed to support both performance and wellbeing.

The opening day was filled with excitement, laughter and a wonderful sense of community. Families came together to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, create lasting memories and celebrate the start of what promises to be an inspiring summer of football for all participants.
