Celebrating Learning in the English Cambridge Programme

The English Cambridge Programme is one of the two educational streams offered at the International German School. Following the internationally recognised Cambridge framework, the programme encourages students to learn by asking questions, exploring ideas, and making connections to the world around them.

To mark the end of the first term, students presented projects that showcased what they had learned in Science, Mathematics, English, Humanities, and ICT.

Learning in the programme is project-based and enquiry-based, meaning students don’t just memorise information—they investigate topics, work together, and create projects that help them better understand what they are learning.

During the presentations, students confidently shared their work entirely in English, explaining their ideas and discoveries to the audience. The event was also interactive, with parents and guests invited to ask questions and take part in the presentations, making the experience lively and enjoyable for everyone.

Through these projects, students demonstrated the values of the Cambridge Learner Profile. They showed confidence when presenting their ideas, responsibility in completing their projects, and engagement in their learning. They also reflected on what they had discovered and showed innovation in the creative ways they shared their work.

As we begin Term 2, we look forward to many more opportunities for students to explore new ideas, create exciting projects, and continue growing as confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged learners.
